The 9-2 and 9-7, GM should be ashamed for throwing dirt on SAABs brand with thos two crapcars who are not even SAABs. Subaru and Chevy Trailblazer am I right?
I started with a 1984 99GL, that was a great car… I then bought a 1990 900T16S. Frightening car that one… now ive got a 2001 9-3 aero coupe in cosmic blue with 250hp and yes, its the dogs bollocks. not keen on the newer cars so think will make this one last the forseeable future. My dad used to have a ‘freewheel’ 95 when i was a kid and it had a hole in the rear footwell where you could see the road but that didnt stop me from wanting one when i got older.
Great tribute and superb music,Saab are legendary cars,i just bought a 900 NG turbo and this car is far better than any new shitty stuff.

I was lucky enough to drive a 5-door 900i for some years, a proper Saab, not just a tarted-up Vauxhall(GM)
The real SAAB idealism is dead! Since 1990 GM has been behind the wheel and made SAABs with opel parts, making it crap! Since that time there has not been any development, the SAAB engine with variable combustion was never launched. SAABs cars and engines are totally outdated, what a pity…..

i have a 01 (gm era) 9-5 and its a piece of shit, saabs are pieces of shit and once in a while someone will get a good one out of the lemon patch.

the older saabs before gm took over not only have more power, but are more reliable……
the new saabs are now just Saturns with saab logos, its pretty pathetic….

my year 2000 saab 95 still pwnes all sorts of tools fags driving STis and other rice burners on the highway.
Since GM took over, saabs have become more reliable, in fact they where rubbish when produced by the sweedes, foir ever breaking down, if they have been bought by a swedish company, then all GMs hard work will be undone, the reason the company was sold in the first place, was due to the poor quality production, of the cars under swedish ownership, the sales where awful:)
